Patina Oil Lamp Brass

Beautiful brass oil lamp from Klong. The oil lamp is available powder-coated in gray and with a copper or brass surface. The copper and brass lamps develop a nice patina over time if they are not polished.

Recommended functional height of the wick is 2-3 mm. Use only high-quality lamp oil such as Kemtyl or Nitor. Fill the container with max. 200 mm oil. If the lamp is overfilled, it will not work due to a vacuum. If the wick is not properly soaked in oil, the wick will not burn. A dry wick that burns damages and prevents the lamp from working properly. It is not intended that the lamp should be polished, but if you want to get a shinier surface on your copper or brass lamp, it is fine to use, for example, Häxan's brass and copper plaster. If you happen to get lamp oil on your clothes, change and wash the garment as it can become extra sensitive to fire. Make sure that neither the container nor the surface is damp, as the metal can cause marks. The lamp is intended for indoor use.
